I am new too the movement...so i guess you all can hate on me...
but about what synical said i spend a lot of time producing stickers but then i have to ride two different buses just to get to school so i put plenty of stickers on on the hour and a half it takes me to get to school. I also want to get vinyls but I dont have photoshop or let alone and sick ideas to put on a vinyl.

i fail at being a "sticker artist" so i do not label myself as such.
i just like to draw pictures on stickers tbh.

i agree with 14 bolt and synical, i dont need a movement to keep going. and i believe alot of people dont spend nearly as much time going out as they do drawing the stickers. ive always had feet problems, so for me i had to try twice as hard as other people. i cant run or jump, so i felt i had to put up twice as many cause i couldnt climb for spots or walk a whole city in a night. so id just go out twice as much and put twice as much up as i thought other people would do. then when your out seeing yourself all over is fucking awesome. but then after a bit you only see where your not, so you want to put more and more up. now with this nerve condition i cant walk even as much as i used to, but if i fellin ok ill hit a few blocks up. but bottom line making stickers is the best thing ever to me. to create and make something that ''advertises'' yourself - to me is amazing and the best idea ever. i know ill do it forever. i think the thing now adays is people create a flickr account and draw something on a peice of adhesive paper and call themselves a sticker artist. whatever, but fools dont ''reserch'' and learn whos who and whos doing what, and what ideas and designs have been spoken for .

Some people are all about getting up, they get free labels and take a black marker and put a simple handstyle on them, that's no art to me. I saw it alot here and I started doing muffin characters that came from my old drawings. I started to get recognized and I saw there were a few people in Maastricht with some nice (printed) designs. I didn't get up much but still there were people who knew my name. Then I got a message from get2 saying he was visiting holland and we could meet each other if we want to, I was exited as fuck and he came here and showed me fresh designs, diffrent techniques and such and it made me think I could do better than cupcakes and ice creams. He told me I should get up so much the haters can't help seeing me. I started doing my new character and I started putting up all these diffrent handdrawn designs on spots where everybody can see them. It made me want to do more than just stickers, I started spraying and people who saw me throwing up my pirate (on some legal spots) said: ''Hey isn't that tasty's character?'' and I thaught hey, I am getting fame. REAL fame. Street fame. The fame nobody would ever get with marker tags on free labels. I guess it's all about taking your time to make a slap, not to make 100 stickers in 10 minutes and getting up hard as fuck. That's why they know me now. Get2 told me to get up more and put them on places where they get seen by everyone. Waiting for 2 weeks to make enough stickers is good, you don't have to get up every night.

I am getting fame. REAL fame. Street fame. Wow,dude, can i touch you? Can you imagine that people are doing it not for fame? Me, for example. I just like to draw, to walk around my hometown, put up my cats. If people see my cats and smile - that's everything i need. my job then is done. i don't need people talking - Oh, do you know this Holy dude, he is making those cats. But, that's just my opinion.

i feel like the word "fame" is too shallow of a word to describe why people do graffiti. I think its a lot deeper and more complex than just cheap fame.

I just say that people are motivated by different things, someone wants fame, someone wants money etc. Maybe those guys who put up 1000 stickers with a tag on it get what they want

"I still keep it street my dudes" "nah mean?" HAHAHAHA where you from? the netherlands? lol. yeah there really isnt anything that "street" about putting up stickers. i do it cause it's fun and i enjoy it. plain and simple, noone will see the stuff i put up in my town because some kid is gonna draw a dick over it or some old fuck will rip it down. but i still do it because i like to see it and i trade because i like seeing my stuff up somewhere someone might see it and getting some art back. trading is pretty gay now, half the people wont send shit back and then lie about how they did.
